Ethan's clamshell quilt

After working on this project for a year and piecing 200+ clamshells together by hand, I finally finished Ethan's quilt!  Ethan loves it and knows that his mommy made it just for him.

I happened to have this mushroom fabric in my stash and it matches perfectly.  I made the binding out of scraps that I had left over and love how it blends in with the border and part of the backing fabric.

Aaron and I will be celebrating our 5 year anniversary tomorrow; I can hardly believe it!  We have a lot to be grateful for.

I found your blog through your sister in law's. I have a baby boy and am looking for cute boys sewing patterns. Do you mind telling me, if you made this precious collarless shirt, what the pattern is? Thanks for your help! Beautiful sewing here. Best wishes, Hallie (letter.to.memphis at hotmail.com)
