Hexagon update

This is my hexagon set up.  They are in stacks, sorted by color.  I don't have a fancy box to organize them in, so I am currently using a tray.
If possible, I am trying to fussy cut each print.
I am using each fabric in my stash about three times and now I'm all out of fabric!  I have bought a couple of scrap packs online and can't wait to turn these DELICIOUS fabrics into hexagons.
By chance, I stumbled upon other hexagon obsessed people on Flickr.  I am so glad that I did because I have found other people to swap fabric with.  I am ready to send off this pretty bundle today.
I was talking to my aunt on Skype yesterday and she said that as far as addictions go, fabric wasn't a bad one to have.  I asked her to repeat that statement when my husband was in the room.

I totally agree with your Aunt! I am beginning to realize that once caught Hexie addiction is quite incurable! I love your little piles - mine are in a box at the moment as I don't have a great pile done. I haven't blogged about them as I wanted to share my contribution to Dolly Donations, but I will be showing something soon.
Carry on Regardless and Enjoy!

Your piles look lovely...like little snacks on that tray! I am addicted to them, and it's only been a few days. I would love to see the group on Flckr that's trading fabric. I cut out a kabillion 2.5" squares, well, at least it seems that way! I am ready to trade.

I think your addiction is fine, since you actually USE the fabrics. Now, if the piles start reaching the ceiling and you can't find your sewing machine anymore, then we will start worrying.

Does fussy cut mean cutting while paying attention to the pattern?

Thanks, everyone! They sure are fun to make!

Mom, you're right; fussy cutting is paying attention to the pattern when you cut.

Heyyyy, I recognize that little pile! :)
Thanks again; it moved right to the top of the pile of squares waiting to be hexed.

HI

I just found your blog via red pepper quilts. Love the hexagons and Chase (and your little man).
I love hexagons too, have 2 golden retrievers and a 2.5 year old son!
