Hamlet's Castle

Yesterday Chase, Aaron, and I took a beautiful leisurely drive up the coast of Denmark to the town of Helsingør, to visit Hamlet's Castle. We walked around the moat and poked around the little village inside the moat. We are looking forward to a castle tour this summer with family. On our walk, a Danish tourist asked Aaron if Chase was one of the dogs of the castle. How cute! From the conversation, Aaron of course inferred that he must look like the Prince of Denmark.

On our way back from the castle, we saw the Max Ernst art exhibit which was fantastic. Max was one of the most influential artists of the 20th century. He was constantly changing his style and experimenting with different painting techniques. One of his techniques created the texture of coral, which was incredible! If you are unfamiliar with his work, you can check out the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art's website.

Aaron and I just booked tickets to Italy in July! We are going to stay in Florence for a little over a week and take day trips from there. This is going to be Baby Noodle's first vacation! We are starting to think about what weekend trips we want to take while we are in Europe.

What fun to visit the castle. That sounds like something I would love to do. Love, Mom
