My grandma wanted a place to put her books and pens, so I made this organizer for her. It slips on the arm of her favorite chair and even has a flannel pocket for her glasses. This organizer is adapted from an Amy Butler pattern from her book In Stiches. My goal this year is to stop using patterns and start making my own. I just don't want to ruin any of my gorgeous fabric with my amateur pattern construction skills.

Em, this is so cute! I have been wanting to try this pattern. Is it hard? Looks complicated with all those pockets! You did such a good job, of course! Sasa will love it!
