Week in Review: Denmark, Danishes, and a Dog Park

It is hard to believe that the house is all packed up and Aaron, Chase, and I are now living halfway around the world from Seattle. It is also hard to believe that Aaron got away with bringing ALL of his shoes...a pair for every occasion...and all I have are snow boots and tennis shoes. Somehow I got stuck with the suitcases filled with pots and pans, a bulky set of Tupperware, and our set of knives. Something is very wrong with this picture but I assure you, this will problem will be remedied with a clear conscience.

When I arrived, one of the first things I did was sample some of Denmark's famous pastries. The apple danishes are to die for here--they are so fresh, flakey, and practically melt in your mouth. We will be trying many more.

We have been scoping out neighborhoods that we are interested in and found a couple of towns near the most amazing dog park in the world. The grounds of a royal summer palace are now being enjoyed by canines of all ages. We took Chase to the DP today and watched him run full-speed, wrestle, and have the time of his life. I also saw a couple of kids sledding at the park and one man was cross-country skiing.

Hey guys, this looks like an amazing dog park! You'll have to take me there. I'm getting excited about eating all those yummy baked goods. But, fear not, I'm much MORE excited to see you and baby!

Brad says to Aaron: Smart packing dude. Susen says to Emily: A woman without her shoes is like an elephant without a trunk. And you didn't pack your trunk... (Brad said that too). Love you guys and miss you all.
