It's been awhile

It's been over a year since my last post and so much has changed.  We packed up our house in Copenhagen and moved halfway around the world, back to Seattle.  Moving with two young kids, a dog, and with no family to watch the kids while we packed boxes (in addition to Aaron painting the entire inside of our flat) was no easy task, but we did it!  Before we shipped ourselves back to Seattle, we took the kids on a dream vacation to Vienna, Paris, and we slowly made our way to the south of France by car.

I loved so many things about France, but the markets in France are beyond amazing. Here are a few pics from our trip.

Beautiful flowers at a market in St. Tropez
Fresh vegetables
Rotisserie chicken that we brought to Gigaro beach and ate with French bread.  Divine!
French soaps
Fresh lavender
This town in the south of France was known for its antiques and flea markets.
We were fortunate enough to be in town during one of their flea markets.

There were all sorts of treasures to be found.
I wish I bought a yellow pot or two and maybe those darling canisters.
These birds were carnival rides in a  previous life
St. Ouen--biggest antique market in the world and a 15 minute walk from our flat in Paris.  We had many fun hours exploring the winding streets and discovering one-of-a-kind treasures that we had to take home.

I plan to start blogging again, now that the dust has settled a bit, so please check back.  Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving!
