What did you do to celebrate the summer solstice? We watched some witches get burned to a crisp. Don't worry, they were only made out of cloth and hay! Witches were burned in bonfires all over Denmark on June 23rd. To learn more about Sankt Hans Aften, click here.
Can you imagine this holiday being celebrated in Massachusetts?
Ding Dong! The Witch is dead. Which old Witch? The Wicked Witch!
Ding Dong! The Wicked Witch is dead.
Wake up - sleepy head, rub your eyes, get out of bed.
Wake up, the Wicked Witch is dead. She's gone where the goblins go,
Below - below - below. Yo-ho, let's open up and sing and ring the bells out.
Ding Dong' the merry-oh, sing it high, sing it low.
Let them know
The Wicked Witch is dead!

Hi Nudelman's
I know it will be a Fourth of July far from home, but we are thinking of you every day. Love, AB
That was quite a fun party, and I must say I feel so much safer here in Denmark knowing that they are so careful to keep the streets safe from witches!
