The Excitement of Winter Break

Aaron, Chase, and I had a great break before Christmas. As many of you know, we had a snowstorm in Seattle, which was very unusual. We made all of our Christmas presents which was a blast. Sadly, I forgot to take pics of all the cute gifts! We made two different types of spice rubs for the men in our families and made lavender bath salts and bath bombs (that rival Lush's bombs) for the women in our family. Since Aaron has such a strong chemistry background, he was very exact with the amounts of all the ingredients and "getting it right."

We spent an afternoon with my cousins before Christmas and made our family's traditional bread ring for Christmas. This is the tastiest tradition. We also dipped Ritz crackers with peanut butter in white chocolate. Yum!

Aaron accepted a great job in Denmark, so we will be moving in a few weeks! We are packing up our lives here and are getting ready for an adventure. Needless to say, I will be taking a break from updating this blog for a bit. I look forward to picking things back up in Denmark.

We love our gifts! We have used the spice rub twice already: once on beef steak and once on pork chops. Yum!
